Announcing the Winner of the 2026 O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble Medical Malpractice Advocacy Scholarship

Congratulations to Fredric G. Levin College of Law student Amber Ree Robinson!

SPRINGFIELD, NJ, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Attorney Paul A. O’Connor III has chosen this year’s recipient of the O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble Medical Malpractice Advocacy Scholarship. Congratulations, Amber Ree Robinson, on winning the scholarship’s $2,500 in financial support!

Robinson is a student at The University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. In addition to tackling the legal program’s heavy course load, she contends with health complications brought about by sickle cell disease.

When asked what drew her to the O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble Medical Malpractice Advocacy Scholarship, Robinson notes that she has personal experience advocating for herself in healthcare settings, and that without fervent support, some medical professionals may not have taken her needs seriously.

She also notes that the O’Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble Medical Malpractice Advocacy Scholarship inspired her to think about her fellow “sickle cell warriors,” many of whom have been critically underserved.

When she’s not serving as a voice for herself or her fellow sickle cell warriors, Robinson serves as Florida Tax Moot Court President, University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy General Editor, Florida Student Bar Association 3L Class Representative, and Florida Trial Team Chair of Education. She is currently a 3L with plans to graduate and take the bar as soon as possible.

Once she has her law degree, Robinson hopes that she can continue to use her voice for those who don’t have one. She wants to serve as a “zealous advocate” as she progresses throughout her legal career, during which she intends to continue mentoring law students and young attorneys in the early stages of their practice.
