Family-Owned Sip Society Now Open; Brings “Drinks with Purpose” to The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis
Considered to be the “downtown” of Lake Saint Louis, The Meadows features a range of shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Sip Society is a family-owned beverage shop at The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis. Through its “Drinks with Purpose” mission, Sip Society donates 10 percent of profits to local nonprofit organizations and highlights a Rescue of the Month.
Sip Society was founded by a four-woman family team: Tracy Gillis, the business’s financial backing; her daughter Ariel Reed, the brand’s visionary and creative lead; and granddaughters Hannah and Hayley Herbert, who round out day-to-day operations.
Sip Society held a Grand Opening event on Friday, September 25. After sampling their unique beverages at local farmers' markets, owners are excited to open in their new permanent location at The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis.
New beverage shop donates 10 percent of monthly profits to local rescues and charities
Sip Society was founded by a four-woman family team: Tracy Gillis, the business’s financial backing; her daughter Ariel Reed, the brand’s visionary and creative lead; and granddaughters Hannah and Hayley Herbert, who round out day-to-day operations. Together they built the shop around a simple mission: Sip well. Do good. Sip Society donates 10 percent of profits to local rescues and charities. Owners also partner with rescues, host events, highlight a Rescue of the Month, and work with other local businesses and organizations on adoption events and other fundraisers throughout the year.
Sip Society owners have been sampling their unique beverages at local farmers' markets and events, and are excited to move to their new permanent location. “The Meadows’ walkability and the sense of community here made it the right home for us. We’re creating a place to hang out, take a picture, bring your kids, meet a rescue animal, discover a new drink, and come back again,” said Ariel Reed, co-owner of Sip Society. “We like to say we have lots of drinks, a little personality, and a whole lot of purpose, because every sip can do a great amount of good.”
The shop’s menu spans flavored energy drinks, dirty sodas, hydration refreshers, elevated protein shakes, cold brew coffee, teas, frozen cocktails, and kids’ drinks, giving families and friend groups a place where everyone can find a beverage that meets their taste, from morning until night. Beyond beverages, Sip Society is building a presence in the community through its Rescue of the Month partnerships and by hosting adoption and fundraising events at the shop.
