Work release resident Chamberlain fails to return in Des Moines

Des Moines, Iowa — Dennis Marquis Chamberlain failed to return to the Fort Des Moines Work Release Facility as required on September 6, 2026.

Chamberlain is serving time for Domestic Abuse Assault in Polk County, along with an additional conviction for Sex Offender Registration Violation.

Chamberlain is a 39-year-old, 5'11", 227-pound Black male. He was admitted to the work release facility on April 22, 2026.

The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking assistance from the public in locating Chamberlain. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
